Favorite performances so far: La Farranucci, Grease, Assassins, The Ballad of Baby Doe, and The Sound of Music. Coming up in 2021 (barring Covid-19 precautions), Lauren will begin filming a new musical, Confessions of a Retired Witch, in January alongside Broadway vet D’jamin Bartlett and will be starring as Florence in Chess the musical in March. She has co-starred in several new productions and workshops of new musicals in the last year, one of which was half way through its run at the Hudson Guild Theatre before being interrupted by the Coronavirus. Lauren is a founding member of Divas on Tap NYC, a band consisting of her roommates, and Dead Man’s Toe Productions where she is the head screenwriter and Mary Sanderson for all parodies and fun involving Hocus Pocus. Her students have gone on to participate in Wingspan Arts Theater Conservatory in NYC, iPop in Los Angeles, and the adult professionals have worked on various cruise lines around the world. Next to performing, teaching is her next greatest passion and the best way to learn is to do! Her musical background is compromised of opera, musical theater, and pop/rock music. She began teaching voice lessons in 2018, and is excited to be part of the team at Eskay’s Music Lessons. Lauren Gismondi is a native NYer and a maven to the digital ways of making art. It is an exploration of personal strengths, accomplishments, connections and believing in herself. In 2018, Sarah released her sophomore Ep titled “Dust it Off”. She released an EP titled “Seven” in 2008 and performed at venues in New York City and on Long Island. Sarah has studied at The Julliard School, studied violin with a Juilliard graduate, and worked with numerous noteworthy vocal coaches, numerous bands, and as a solo performer/singer-songwriter.

She has successfully prepared students for high school, college and professional auditions and competitions such as NYSSMA. in Music Education, Sarah believes in the importance of being a nurturing teacher to encourage all students. Her love of music has led her to become a performer in The Gemini Youth Orchestra,Īs a native of Long Island and a graduate of New York University with a M.A. She can still vividly remember her first music lesson when she was nine years old. As a trained pianist, violinist and vocalist, Sarah has a passion for teaching all styles of music to students of all ages and abilities.
